Harford Christian School, a private Christian high school, founded in 1966, provides rigorous academic instruction to our international students. Our more than 55 year history provides us with the ability to offer distinctive academic selections and diverse opportunities in fine arts and extra-curricular activities. Our college preparatory honors courses prepare students for entrance into prestigious colleges across America. College Preparation

Grade nine marks the beginning of a four-year construction of a high school transcript where HCS students must earn a minimum of 26 credits to acquire their diploma. Harford Christian is blessed to have a full and diverse course offering available to students. As they enter eleventh grade, a host of course electives allow students to create and navigate a path of optimal preparation for their next step, whether that be undergraduate, vocational or military service. German and Spanish four-year programs, advanced science and math courses, and other relevant curricular offerings comprise a solid academic program. The readiness of HCS graduates is confirmed by alumni feedback and SAT scores. Numerous fine arts and interscholastic athletic programs serve as a “means to an end” in developing the well-balanced student.

Developing Christ-likeness

The ultimate goal is that the HCS graduate will know God and His Son, Jesus Christ. “Students developing into the likeness of Jesus Christ” require Divine intervention. Praise God that He who commands angels, allows human instruments to reach the hearts and minds of young people. This is our mission and prayer.
